Residents may register to vote by visiting the Lake County Clerk's Office. In addition to the County Clerk's Office, you may also register at the Shields Township building, 906 Muir Avenue, and at the Lake Bluff Public Library, 123 E. Scranton Ave., Lake Bluff, IL 60044.  In order to register, you must be a U.S. citizen, be 18 years of age or older before the next election, and provide two forms of identification— at least one of the two forms must show your name and current address. Your voter registration does not expire unless you move or change your name. Residents must re-register to vote even if you have just moved across the street.
