In Memory

It is with great sadness we share with you that Christine Letchinger passed away from cancer on April 15. A native of France, Christine was a 33-year resident of the Village and served on the Board of Trustees for 14 years, including two terms as Village President (2005-2013). She also served on the boards of Lake Bluff School District #65 and the Lake Bluff Mosquito Abatement District.

COVID-19 Updates
STAY HOME. The Governor's Stay at Home order remains in effect, and households are forbidden from making non-essential trips. Today, the Governor announced that our local schools will remain closed through the remainder of the academic year. You should continue to avoid social gatherings and maintain six feet of distance from members of other households.
BEACH OPEN. The Park District is keeping Sunrise Park and Beach open and volunteers will enforce social distancing. (Want to volunteer? Contact Jim Lakeman. PPE will be provided.) The District is directing patrons to access the beach only via the service road at Scranton Avenue to promote social distancing.
RECYCLING REVISIONS. Groot asks that any household with members showing COVID-19 symptoms not recycle. These households should bag their recyclables and place them in the trash.
