Recent Board and Committee Actions

Recent Architectural Board of Review (March 3). The ABR:
- Recommended the Village Board approve:
- A site plan for a proposed English pub at the rear of 103-113 East Scranton Avenue.
- A site plan for a proposed Jaguar dealership at 39-47 Sherwood Terrace, adjacent to Route 41.
- Changes to the garbage enclosure at the Public Safety Building, 45 E. Center Ave.
- Discussed the reconstruction of the Green Bay Road bridge (south of Route 176).
Upcoming Finance Committee Meeting (March 9, 6 p.m.). The Committee will discuss the preliminary Fiscal Year 2021-2022 biennial budget, including the Village's pay plan and a possible incentive for sustainable building projects as part of its annual review of Village fees and charges.
Upcoming Village Board Meeting (March 9). The Village Board will consider approval of:
- The purchase of new fueling equipment for the Public Works facility.
- Retaining Baxter & Woodman for Phase I design of the Green Bay Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
- Changes to the garbage enclosure at the Public Safety Building, 45 E. Center Ave.
- Extending the Village's short-term rental pilot program by one year.
- First reading of:
- A special use permit and variations for a proposed English pub at the rear of 103-113 East Scranton Avenue.
- Changes allowing an applicant for a Planned Mixed-Use Development to receive modifications to the applicable zoning height restriction. Some details:
- The Village Board is the applicant for this amendment.
- This change does not approve any specific development. It only sets the parameters for this type of public process in the future.
- At this time, there is no application to redevelop Block Three.
Upcoming Historic Preservation Commission Meeting (March 11). The HPC will hear a presentation regarding the results of the Village's 2018-2019 survey of historic structures. (The geographic scope of the survey includes most areas west of Sheridan Road.)
