Village Headlines
HONOR OUR HEROES - On Monday, November 11, join your community at the Public Safety Building (9 a.m.) for a Veterans Day ceremony recognizing the men and women who have sacrificed in service to our country. Gratitude is owed to the committee of Lake Forest High School students who made sure this valuable service occurred this year.
STYLIN'. Lake Bluff residents know at least one thing in the Chicago Manual of Style, the handbook for the world's writers:

SUNRISE PARK AND BEACH. The Village and the Park District have formed a joint committee to identify and prioritize actions to preserve and protect Sunrise Beach, which is suffering from erosion due to record-high lake levels. Their first meeting is this Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., at the Park District Recreation Center.
LOCK YOUR CAR. Most Lake Bluff auto burglaries still involve an unlocked car. Don't be a victim. Lock your car and don't leave any valuables in view.
CLAP ON, CLAP OFF. When's the last time you had a lightbulb moment? As in, a moment where you really thought about your lightbulbs? The woes of putting up Christmas lights in cold weather can wait until November 29, but you save your household some money today when you make a few "bright" choices.
Calling All Advertising Professionals...

While the Village continues to make its mark through a variety of marketing initiatives, we want to our keep branding efforts fresh and forward thinking. We are creating a Branding Steering Committee to help with this important work. If you an advertising professional who wants to help your home town, this is your chance!
