BACK TO SCHOOL. K-8 students are back in school starting this Tuesday, September 1. While there may not be as much traffic as usual, it is still important to reduce your speed in school zones and to watch for pedestrians and cyclists.
MASK UP. The Department of Commerce and Economy Opportunity has revised its guidelines for restaurants and bars. Patrons must wear face coverings when being served by employees and when picking up food, and should wear face coverings in drive-thru windows. This is consistent with wearing a face covering as much as possible when around members of other households, which is demonstrated to reduce the transmission of COVID-19.
HIT THE BOOKS. The Lake Bluff Library is conducting a
five question Reopening Survey. Your feedback will help inform the Library’s plans for the fall and ensure that efforts are directed toward services that are most needed by the community.
LOCK YOUR CARS. Unlocked cars and valuables left in open view continue to lead to thefts. Take the extra minute to secure your belongings.
BILL ASSISTANCE. ComEd offers
additional assistance to families who may be unable to pay their electric bill.
