Lake Bluff 125 commemorative brick. The order deadline is August 15.

Recent Architectural Board of Review Meeting (Tuesday, August 4, 7 p.m.). The ABR:
- Approved new signage for downtown tenant spaces in the Center Avenue Partners building (28 E. Center Ave. through 49 E. Scranton Ave.).
- Recommended the Village Board approve site plan changes to Village Hall including the addition of brick pavers, landscaping, and a bench.
- Recommended the Village Board approve site plan changes to Sunrise Park including brick pavers, stairs, lighting, and bicycle racks.
Recent Committee-of-the-Whole Special Meeting (Thursday, August 6, 7 p.m.). The Village Board reviewed proposed regulations for use of the Village Green for special events, as well as changes to the Village Code to protect public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, the changes would make it a public nuisance (punishable by fine) to violate public health orders or intentionally or recklessly engage in activity that promotes the spread of contagious or infectious diseases.
Upcoming Committee-of-the-Whole Meeting (August 10, 6 p.m.). The Committee-of-the-Whole will discuss proposed revisions to the Village's Historic Preservation Ordinance.
Upcoming Village Board Meeting (August 10, 7 p.m.). The Village Board will consider:
- Extending the Village's declaration of emergency.
- Temporary authorization to hire an additional police officer due to an anticipated vacancy.
- Site plan changes to Village Hall including the addition of brick pavers, landscaping, and a bench.
- Site plan changes to Sunrise Park including brick pavers, stairs, lighting, and bicycle racks.
- Adopting regulations regarding the use of Village property for special events and to protect public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, the changes would make it a public nuisance (punishable by fine) to violate public health orders or intentionally or recklessly engage in activity that promotes the spread of contagious or infectious diseases.
