PARTY ON! There's a downtown block party Saturday night. Click here for more details.
MARCH OF HONOR. The Ruck March of Lake County will be held on Saturday, September 7. Participants carry a heavy rucksack on a 22-kilometer march to raise awareness of veteran suicides.
ONE, TWO, THREE... Local census takers are wanted to help achieve a complete count of Illinois residents. The Census helps allocate important federal funds to our State and our community. For more information, visit 2020census.gov/jobs.
BLOODSUCKERS. Help keep mosquitoes out of Lake Bluff by eliminating standing water from your property. Some breeding grounds you may not suspect: Clean your gutters, repair leaky faucets, and remove weeds and trash from your ditches and culverts to promote drainage.
YOUR SUSTAINABILITY TIP. Shopping for groceries and household essentials results in a lot of avoidable trash that can't be dealt with sustainably. Plastic bags, wraps, and packages all pollute our waterways and habitats. Learn more and be part of the solution by clicking here.
