Illinois State University, B.S.; Northern Illinois University, M.S. in Educational Administration.

Occupation:

Student Service and Community Coordinator, Lake Forest High School. Retired in 2005 from the Lake Bluff Middle School after 36 years of service, 19 years as a social studies teacher and 17 years as school principal.

Volunteer Work:

Historian, Lake Bluff History Museum.

Community Involvement:

Village of Lake Bluff President (2013-2017), Village of Lake Bluff Trustee (2007-2013), Co-founder of the Lake Bluff History Museum, and Lake Bluff School Caucus Member.

Hobbies and Interests:

Enjoys studying local history and preservation issues, reading, traveling and co-authored two books on Lake Bluff history.

Village Issues Most Concerned With (not listed in any particular order):

  • Seeking additional revenue sources other than property taxes;
  • Reviewing the 1997 Comprehensive Plan; and
  • Supporting the continued improvements to the infrastructure, beautification, and public safety in the downtown and other areas throughout the Village.
